Hey guys! If you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time, you’ve probably noticed skirts aren’t exactly “my thing”. L-O-L. To be quite honest, I’ve always found them slightly inconvenient. Maybe this is me not being a very proper “lady” but I feel like when I wear a skirt, I am worried about showing too much, sitting the correct way (this is actually an issue for me haha!), and in my day-to-day jobs, a skirt is just not practical. Unless you’re legally blonde and you have the bend and snap perfected, skirts are not great for active jobs.
With that being said, finding some more feminine and girly items that I can incorporate into my casual style and wardrobe has been something I have recently been trying to focus on. This Topshop Gingham skirt was actually a lucky find that I snagged out of the sale section at Lenox Mall for only $24! (Atlanta people, GO TO THE TOPSHOP SALE SECTION! It’s located on the downstairs level and they have tons of clothes and shoes for amazing prices. I got a pair of jeans and this skirt for a total of $50. Enough said. You’re welcome.)
This royal blue and white gingham skirt with a front ruffle fits into the gingham trend perfectly but adds a uniqueness and little bit of flare that I always look for. I’ll link some other favorites down below for you!
